Yet, Zappos needs to make sure it endures to focus on its stakeholders and its a long-term idea without Hsieh.

Case Study of Cultural changes by Tony Hsieh

Tony Hsieh made a different kind of changes that occurs when different technological services are introduced all over the world at different locations. This change brings a profitable outcome for the corporation in the US. Tony made a considerable change in a systematic way. All instructions, rules, and work concerned documents were necessary to report the leader.

In the beginning radical change felt to be challenging in the daily work routine. But the passionate workers did their jobs as a part of the company. Teamwork considered the principal part of the company’s leadership to carry on or to change directions. Zappos undertake the following politics of change by “Tony Hsieh” are

·         Incremental Change

Change based on large or small scales conducted step by step.

·         Internal Course Change

Tony presented himself as a great leader in the whole journey of the company by making internal changes.

·         Planned change

Intension to install and getting the desired results are done by proper planning. In this type, systematics models are used to describe the approaches.

·         Sustainable Change

Sustainable cultural change was the burning desire of Hsieh to maintain long-term relations with organs attached to the company.

·         Facilitated Change

Facilitated changes are introduced according to the company's needs what should happen as per the company’s budget. Collaborative style matters for the CEO of Zappos that every worker must take part in the organization decision. By the way, the consultative approach is also important in which employees asked for their views about the company’s management.

Concluded Observations for Zappos Action Plan

Zappos through a well-organized and well-managed organization, but I would like to add my opinion to make the company’s journey more reliable. That motivation, inspiration matters more than anything else, because all this is beyond the money, revenue, and company shares.

I would like to recommend that Zappos can manage the basic duties by using the following techniques

• Every member of staff must responsible for his role instead of depending on the team.

• Everyone should give his duties to support and lead the mission.

• As Zappos managed a wide ranger call centre 24/7, then everyone should communicate that is already included in Zappos core values.

Being the largest online shoe company in the world Zappos must do some trustworthy steps. If someone found a lazy worker in his team then he must go to the supervisor or higher authorities to maintain the worker’s workload. As the rule of the job is to fulfil the client’s desire according to the given time so there should be a proper layout for the stressed employee. Since in this modern age IT is like a backbone for any business especially in the case of e-commerce. So Zappos must update their networking system with the upcoming times. There are other two major features that I observed that must retain in the company’s norms are:

1. Social Chain Development

Socialization is the key to success for any business to keep communication between the staff, clients, and company. How does a company work? Which services are offered by a company?

To overcome these issues and to introduce any by-product in-market social organizations are a major source. Socializing is a treatment that increases interaction between the manager and employees. One of the major issues is to provide proper training to the fresher’s in organizations by social interaction. So Zappos should practice diverse methods of socialization for getting the bests results. Effective business socialization can grow an efficient working community as well as the customer community for a longer time.

2. Getting Feedback from the Customers

Customer feedback is important for a company to introduce more latest and updated designs and the stuff used in the products according to customers' demand. Especially, a hired person may condemn errors. So over tracking feedback, newbies as well the workers can learn more and that what people want from the company. In my opinion, feedback should be considered as positive content to create future potential in an organization.
