Why Should I Love Pakistan?
It is among the common questions asked by the other when you love something. But in the case of a country, it is just ridiculous to ask why do you love your country?
If I speak as a Pakistani, then I have to say that we have the importance of our country above this concept of nationalism. As everybody knows our condition before 14th August 1947. We were nothing even, we didn’t have any identity. our enemies both ‘’The British’’ and “Hindus” considered us as a minority and nothing else. we were treated miserably even worse than slaves. We had no respect at that time. our woman was disgraced by them . their lives had no assurance that whether they would return home in the evening or not. We had no jobs no status. We were considered as untouchables. But, by the grace of “God,” this in-human attitude is not being practiced anymore. Our leaders struggled to make the Muslims strongly aware of these conditions and make them thought, how to become shining and get their right? As a result, we succeeded to get a separate homeland “Pakistan”. We got it after an unending struggle and many sacrifices and today we are not behind any nation in the world. We have the largest salt ranges, resources of minerals oil, and resources of radioactive material. We have the best army in the world. All four kinds of weather are available to us, suitable conditions are there for our agricultural production. We have genius people like Dr.Abdul Qadir Khan, talented students, and workers. As I continue maybe words fall short but the resources we have in our country will never end. that’s why I have to say ‘ I love Pakistan’ and those who don’t have a love for their country will never become good citizens, ever. Unfortunately, we have leaders who do not even fulfill the requirement of patriotism to be called Pakistanis. These are the persons who don’t have any right to live in this country. Insha’Allah in the upcoming years we will completely get rid of these black sheep and our country will become the world’s number one nation.
