MEDITATION
what is meditation?
Over the years, researchers on meditation have found that meditation changes the size of your brain.
In 2011, Dr. Sarah Lazar, an asersity, conductedsistant professor of psychology at Harvard Univ a study. This shows that with just eight weeks of meditation, your brain size changes with three very important places that reduce the bed parts of your brain and increases the good parts of your brain.
There is an important part of your brain which we call the left-hippocampus. Its job is to learn new information and new things and process it and save it in short term memory and then in long term memory. Meditation improves the size and function of your brain's left-hippocampus, which has the benefit of increasing your ability to learn and remember things.
A a little bit of stress is good for a person, it keeps us active, but if we are full of stress all the time, it turns into depression and anxiety, it destroys your ability. Just five minutes of daily meditation reduces your stress 70 to 80 percent.
According to a study, 25,000 to 50,000 thoughts come to our minds every day. Our brain is always thinking of something but we have no control over these thoughts. But through meditation, we can gain control over them.
